Life Rolls On

With the support of his family, Jesse Billauer established Life Rolls On after a spinal cord injury resulted in paralysis. Despite this injury, Jesse continues to live life to its fullest as a professional surfer and motivational speaker. His inspirational story has been made into a feature film.

Recognizing it can make a larger and more meaningful impact through its quality of life efforts, LRO no longer funds spinal cord injury research. Instead, the organization refined its mission to a single purpose: to improve the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury. LRO proudly provides adaptive action sports programs; foster spinal cord injury awareness; and offers outreach to individuals and their families at the onset of injury.
In 2010, Life Rolls On became a subsidiary of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and serves as its West Coast headquarters.
